Little Horizons Academy’s admission process and criteria aim at considering each applicant holistically. Our decisions are based on the evaluation of the applicant’s values, character, academics, behavior, self-motivation, and citizenship.

Before filling out our online application, please make sure to read through all of the instructions. We also strongly encourage you to attend one of our Admission events or to contact us and schedule a personalized tour.

Admissions Deadlines

For the 2024-2025 academic year admission applications, we highly encourage families to meet our admissions deadlines.

What are admissions deadlines? As our student body grows, we receive many more applications than we have open seats available. We therefore encourage families to apply and complete their admission process as early as possible before our sections fill up. Applicants who will meet our admissions deadlines will be receiving an admission decision earlier. We will continue to accept applications after these deadlines and accept successful applicants on a rolling basis, with longer delays.

In order to beat our high peak season enrollment, please complete your application as early as possible. Applications for the 2024-2025 Academic School year are now open.

Application Fee

$100 non-refundable fee, due with each student’s completed application form.

Family Enrollment Fee

$1000 this is a non–refundable, one time enrollment fee. It is per family and due within five business days of receiving an acceptance letter.

    About our Office of Admissions

    Student Enrollment Applications are processed through the same Admissions office as Brighter Horizons Academy. So enrollment for children of all ages can be done through the same online application form. To begin the process, you will be asked to create a family account with BHA/LHA through our shared portal. It will be one family account for families with both LHA and BHA students.

    Steps for Admissions

    STEP ONE: COLLECT all required documents

    The following documents will need to be uploaded to the application. Please have all documents ready on your computer in pdf format or similar before you start the application.

    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Record
    • Copy of Parent ID

    STEP TWO: Apply for Admission

    Submit your online application.

    24-25 School Year Note: PK1 applicants must be 3 years old by October 1, 2024; PK2 applicants must be 4 years old by October 1, 2024; KG applicants must be 5 years old by October 1, 2024. PK-KG students must be fully potty-trained.

    The application fee due with this form is $100 for LHA per applicant. This fee is non-refundable.

    Please note, your application will not be submitted without completing payment through the application.

    Applications do not rollover to the following academic year.

    STEP THREE: Admission Testing and Interview
    Upon receiving and reviewing application with all documents, the Office of Admission will contact you to schedule your child’s admission test. At the time of testing, the $1,000 non-refundable enrollment fee per family are due. The family fee is refundable only if certain conditions are met.
    STEP FOUR: Review and Decision for Admission
    Admission decisions will be communicated to the parents/guardians by email. For applicants who did not meet the admissions deadlines, admission decisions will be given on a rolling basis.
    STEP FIVE: Receiving an Acceptance Letter & Enrollment Packet

    Upon Admission, parents must complete the Enrollment Process to secure your child’s seat. The Office of Admission will include instructions on securing your seat in the Acceptance Letter.
